A flick of a match,
A blaze ignited from a negligible flame,
The candor of the flames drawing me close,
Hypnotized by its dancing embers,
Its sparks speaking to me,
Its dangers belies me,
The truths unbeknown to most,
The flames too hot to touch,
A reflection of my inner beast,
The inner hunger of wolves
The desires of the materialistic world,
The thirst for life,
The knowledge of woven spines,
The spite of a quick tongue,
The capricious lust for life,
Mirroring of the self within a flame,
The ego combust into an inferno of self- reproach,
Born anew I will, when my charred skin grates away;
The true essence of me unveils,
As the flames call to me,
A change needs to be had.

Hi Siddarth, thank you for your kind words. Would definitely peruse your writings more. From what I have read thus far, it is inspiring and hearfelt. I am alas a novice writer and hence wouldnt be fair for me to cast judgement on your supreme work!π

You are far too kind with your generousity! In my estimation a writer is a tornado of wild thoughts trapped within a tortured mind. So nothing supreme about me, I’m just a mere bleeding soul. Thank you so much for such a kind compliment though. I’m truly humbled by your kindness. ππ
